Mini-TANKERS, formerly known as Wilton Transport, is a fuel distribution business based in Redcar, Teesside. The company is known for its on-site, direct-to-equipment refuelling solutions, as well as bulk, domestic and commercial supply. The company was taken into private ownership in 2007, and in 2021 it became part of the Geos Group and announced a major programme of investment and growth.

Since then Mini-TANKERS has gone from strength to strength. Its compound at Wilton International, where it parks its trucks and stores its product, has grown in size, and a new office has been built. The company has also modernised and expanded its fleet of trucks, making it even better equipped to supply a wider range of clients over a larger geographical area, while continuing to deliver an excellent and reliable service.

As well as operating a standard bulk fuel supply service and fulfilling home heating requirements, Mini-TANKERS has a unique ability to deliver very small volumes of fuel directly to its clients. It carries out regular ‘milk runs’, so that clients can concentrate on running their businesses without having to worry about running out of fuel. The company’s delivery service proved invaluable during the Covid-19 pandemic, enabling temporary testing centres to remain open seven days a week by regularly topping up the generators that provided electrical power and lighting.

With its strategy of fleet modernisation and business expansion in place and underway, Mini-TANKERS continues to grow.
